How do I set a secure password?

Here's a little guide on how to make a secure password that's hard to guess.
1) A good password is eight or more characters long.
2) Don't include your username in the password.
3) Don't make your password your birthday or anyinformation others may know.
4) Don't make it a common dictionary word.
5) Use at least one number or symbol.
6) Last but not least, never give out your password and do not ask your browser to remember it on a shared computer.
If you find your new password hard to remember, consider noting it down and putting the paper in your wallet or somewhere safe.
