Hi everyone...

The news is surprising, since the last games in the series, Heartgold and SoulSilver, came out only months ago; That only leaves a single year between releases, when usually there are at least three. On the other hand, HG and SS were remakes of older games, not an entirely new generation of Pokémon, so they might not fit into the overall release timeline in the same way. The last new generation of Pokémon, Diamond and Pearl versions, were released in the US way back in 2007. Fans will likely be hoping that four years between generations is enough time for Nintendo and developers Game Freak to make some major modifications to the hashed out formula. ...
