Nicknaming is back. Simply look for this button to nickname your Pokemon: (the little notebook with the pencil on top)

Note: Nicknames are visible all over the game. Nickname changes are logged. Please don't choose inappropriate nicknames, it'll be easy for us to see them if you do and act accordingly! Thanks :)

The tag battle was really buggy and not working properly - many users agreed with this, so I took the time to completely rewirte it. It appears to be more stable, but it also works diferently. I'll explain it in this post:

1) In the box next to your name, put the name of your partner. In the box under your name, put the name of one of your opponents.

You can now login to the forums with your Pokemonlake user & password. This update will hopefully motivate more users to use the forums

A few things to note:

If it doesn't work for you, try logging in PokemonLake game and then try again

If the forum account name already exists it will not be affected

I did this a hacky way so if anything breaks notify me! I have a backup of the forums ...

We upgraded the forums to PHPBB 3.0.9

Important changes:

Recaptcha on registration (NO MORE SPAMBOTS!!!!!!)

You can now change your username from the UCP but don't abuse that ;)

We need a new header image for the forums, 150x50 px! I'm sure one of our talented artists can do that ;)

We have added three (3) new maps, that include both regular pokemon and fusions (special thanks to all our contributors! it wouldn't be possible without them).
