First game you ever owned/played

Feel free to take some liberties on this one if you don't remember or want to name your first game for a particular console.The first video game I ever owned, EVER, was Donkey Kong Country for the Game Boy Pocket. Good game. Sure I got stuck at a certain part and gave up for a couple years, but it was still a lot of fun.Someone tell me that Dragon's Call is the hot game now.Does anyone who play it?

Thats the first one I ever played (Donkey Kong) Im thinking it was for the original Nintendo though. I've never heard of Dragon's Call.

Do computer games count?
If not, Planet monsters for the GBA (http://www.neoseeker.com/Games/Products ... _monsters/). I don';t think it's a popular game, but it's pretty fun. You choose a monster and have to move blocks around and use weapons etc. The goal is ofc to be the last 1 alive.
Just thinking about it makes me wanna play again, it's definately fun

The very first game that I ever TRULY immersed myself into was Chrono Trigger. I had played Mario, Zelda and other games before that but it wasn't the same. I didn't feel the crazed attachment like I did with Chrono Trigger -- an old RPG for the SNES. Hundreds of different conclusions and a great story to boot. You can't beat a game like that!!!!

My first game had to be Super Mario RPG. SIngle-Handedly the best game I played. When it came out on the Nintendo Virtual Console, I got it immediately. It's better than I remember. The second game was Sonic the Hedgehog.
