Here is my first story about Pokemon. I hope you all like it, and i'm new here.


Prolouge

The wind stung against Giovanni's cheeks. Tension was in the air. He had never been backed into a corner like this. Red smirked, knowing he would win. "Charizard, Wing Attack!"commanded Red. The Charizard glided through the air like an boomerang. "Golem, use Rock Slide!" Giovanni yelled desperately. Golem made all the nearby boulders float and strike Charizard. But Charizard just swatted them away, as if they were flies. Charizard struck Golem with it's wing, and the titanic Pokemon fell down. Golem was near fainted. "Gah... Golem, use Explosion!" Red's eyes widened. They were in a cave. If Golem used Explosion it would be over for both trainers. Golem exploded, and rocks began to fall. Giovanni laughed maniacally, the last sound the leader of Team Rocket would ever make.

Chapter 1 Enter Totodile!

September 5th, 2012.

Steven woke up on his 10th birthday, fresh as a daisy. He walked downstairs to see his mom and his baby sister baking a root beer cake. "HI BROTHER!!!" his sister exclaimed. She came up and tackled Steven. "ARE YOU GUNNA GET A POKEMON?!?!" she asked. "Uh yeah, i'll get dressed." Steven got dressed. "I'll be home for the cake!" he said as he stepped out of the door into Veilstone City. He walked to Professor Ray's lab, eager to get his first pokemon. He opened the door and stepped in hesitantly. "Hello...?" he muttered. All the sudden, part of the ground opened up and up rose a man in a lab coat. He looked to be 18, and and had black sideburns. His brilliant green eyes stared at Steven, examining him. "Hello, young one!" He rushed to Steven and shook his hand. "I bet your here for a pokemon?" he asked. "Uhhhh yeah. It's my 10th Birthday." he responded. "Well lets not wait!" The man led him to an room with 3 pokeballs. "Professor Ray was expecting you, but he is busy in Jublife right now." the man said. "Go ahead and pick one!" Steven walked towards the table. He picked up the one on the far left. "I choose this one." he said, looking at the Pokeball. "Well go ahead, open it!" the man said. Steven tossed the pokeball in the air and it landed on the ground. It opened and in a flash of light came out a blue crocodile. It looked around the room and it's eyes met Steven's. "Totodile!" it yelped as it waved it's arms. "Well, you have chosen the Jaw Pokemon, Steven!" the man exclaimed. Totodile jumped on Steven's shoulder. Steven thanked the man and walked out of the lab. He arrived at his house. The cake was ready, and in his sister's handwriting it said "Happy Birthday Steven and his Pokemon!" Steven's sister gasped when she saw Totodile. "AWWW IT'S SO CUTE CAN I HOLD IT PLEASE PLEASE STEVEN PLEASE?!?!?!!" she pleaded. Steven sighed. "I don't even know it yet, sis! I'll let you see it after cake." Steven sat down and Totodile jumped on the table, examining the cake. "You'll get a piece, Totodile." said Steven as he cut his slice. He cut Totodile's slice and gave it to him. Totodile held the cake and then jumped around, dancing. Steven started eating when Totodie stole his fork. "Hey! I was using.... oh whatever." Steven sighed and plopped the slice in his mouth. Totodile did the same, only with his fork! "Oh no... Totodile!!" Steven yelped and told Totodile to open his mouth. Totodile opened it, and to his amazement, the fork was in half! "I guess they don't call you the jaw pokemon for nothing..." After cake, he let his sister play with it, but unfortunately, Totodile does not favor tuxedo's and tea parties. After that, Steven departed from his house, saying goodbye to his mom and sister, and began an adventure.
